Partnership for the Future of Digital Payments and Banking Innovation

On April 30, 2026, the Macedonian Banking Association and CaSys AD Skopje officially signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, marking the beginning of a new chapter of joint efforts toward the development of a modern, secure, and efficient financial ecosystem.

The Memorandum establishes a framework for cooperation in several areas of mutual interest, with a focus on advancing payment infrastructure, supporting the development of digital payments and e-commerce, strengthening cybersecurity and secure payment solutions, preventing fraud, and encouraging digitalization and innovation within the banking sector.

As part of the cooperation, the two institutions will also work on activities related to the regulatory and strategic framework through the exchange of knowledge, experience, and expertise, as well as through joint participation in initiatives connected to legislative and regulatory developments.

The partnership will further include the organization of educational events, expert meetings, and activities aimed at following modern industry trends and enhancing best practices within the financial sector. Representatives of the Macedonian Banking Association and CaSys will hold regular meetings to ensure the implementation of the agreed activities and to further strengthen the partnership.

This important step was made possible through the shared vision and commitment of Filomena Pljakovska Asprovska, President of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of CaSys AD Skopje, and Maja Stevkova Shterieva, President of the Macedonian Banking Association, reaffirming their dedication to the development of a modern, secure, and innovative financial system aligned with today’s digital challenges and market needs.
