In line with global trends in digital banking, CaSys has introduced a virtual card payment service, offering users faster, safer and more accessible access to payment services.
A virtual card is a digital equivalent of a physical payment card and includes a 16-digit PAN number, a CVV2 code and an expiration date. For security reasons, this data is not stored in the mobile application but is available upon request through the bank’s app. Virtual cards can be used immediately for online payments, significantly speeding up the digital onboarding process and providing greater financial flexibility.
Thanks to the RealTimeCMS (RTCMS) system, banks can now offer:
- Virtualization (tokenization) of an existing card – enabling digital use without the need for a physical card.
- Issuance of virtual cards in real time – with option to print a physical card if needed.
- Real-time display of card data – for fast and secure access during any online payment.
“CaSys is continuously working to enhance the digital experience for clients, whereas the virtual cards are a step forward in that direction. With this solution, banks can provide their users with greater convenience, security and speed when making financial transactions. Digitalization is not just a trend, but a necessity in modern banking and we are proud to bring these innovations to the Macedonian market,” representatives from CaSys stated.
By implementing this service, CaSys strengthens its leading position in the digitalization of payment services, supporting partner banks in their transformation toward faster and more secure financial solutions.
